Meerut Transport
- Meerut has two Railway Stations Meerut City and Meerut Cantt and direct connectivity with Delhi Bhagpat, Ghaziabad, Agra, Dehradun, Uttarakhand state, and others.
- Newly developed Rapid Rail transportation services as a name by Delhi Meerut RRTS. This is the under NCR Transport Plan-2021 as proposed. Moreover, its rail-based huge transport services called by RRTS- Regional Rapid Transit System it will be between Delhi to Meerut along with the Shahdara-Ghaziabad area scheduled and construction had done during 2001-11 and the Ghaziabad-Meerut area under progress period for 2011–21.
Road
The location of Meerut is familiar with major towns of NCR like Delhi, Noida, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Haridwar & Gurugram, etc. most popular national highways like NH-119, NH-58 and NH-235 move through Meerut. The Upper Ganga Canal superhighway which moves through the bypass of the town is under development. There are two main bus Transport Terminal by name Bhainsali bus stand and the Sohrab Gate bus depot from where Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC). And another expressway is Delhi-Meerut Expressway (Under Construction).
Airport
- The nearest airport is the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) airport which is about 85 km away.
- The Bhim Rao Ambedkar Airport is located at Partapur under consideration by the state government along with a central government that the airstrip will be upgraded to an international airport to reduce traffic density on Delhi airport.
